My peers and I designed and created an app called ‘Local’. This app was made for people who struggle to find entertainment in a city. We first established our target audience and made personas for them. We then created wireframes for the different screens. After we created our wireframes we made them interactive so that we could move on to usability testing. We each had five different people test our wireframes and noted down what they liked and didn’t like. We used that information to improve our wireframes so that we could move on to stylization and add any finishing touches. The app features a home page that displays a variety of different locations in the city. The app also features a map, which makes finding these locations easier and convenient for the user.
